How to get here
Our resort is located 1.5 km from Khao Sok bus station on the right side, and about 600 m from the National Park entrance. From the bus station you can take a joint taxi for 50B per person. For further details on how to get to Khao Sok see directions below:
Directions to Khao Sok Royal Bamboo Lodge
There are regular flights to Surat Thani airport from Bangkok, one daily flight from Chiang Mai and even two weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur. After arriving at Surat Thani airport you can take the regular minivan shuttle to Khao Sok. The transfer takes around 2 hours. To make a reservation for the minivan contact Panthip Travel:

Countless domestic and international flights land at Phuket International Airport everyday and it takes only 2.5-3 hours from there to Khao Sok. So if you are flying in from abroad it is a good idea to fly to Phuket. Unfortunately there is no joint minivan service connecting Phuket airport to Khao Sok. You can either take the public bus (Surat Thani bound) from the “Highway Police Station” bus stop, about 3 km from the airport for around 200 baht, or take a private taxi. We can arrange the latter for you with the cost of 2800 baht. If you go by bus calculate around 4 hours traveling time.
Long distance buses connect Bangkok to the South of Thailand. There are many buses to Surat Thani daily, most depart from Bangkok Southern Terminal and take around 10-12 hours to Surat Thani. From Surat Thani bus terminal (Talad Kaset 2) you can take a minivan or public bus to Khao Sok.
From Bangkok Southern Terminal you can also take an overnight VIP bus bound for Khao Lak that passes directly by Khao Sok, getting you here between 5 – 6 am, without changing buses.
From Khao Lak
You can either just stand any where at the side of the road and take the public bus bound for Surat Thani, coming from Phuket about every 1 – 2 hours (the last one passes Khao Lak around 4:30 pm) or contact any travel agency to book a joint minivan.
From Krabi
From Phuket
Unfortunately there is no joint minivan service connecting Phuket airport to Khao Sok. You can either take the public bus (Surat Thani bound) from the “Highway Police Station” bus stop, about 3 km from the airport for 200B, or take a shuttle to Phuekt town and get a minivan from there. Calculate around 4 – 5 hours traveling time.
From Ranong
Take either a public bus or a minivan to Takuapa and change there at the bus station to the public bus bound for Surat Thani.
