Experience the jungle by Day and by Night

Our experienced jungle guide will pick you up directly at The Royal Bamboo Lodge and you will head together to the entrance of the national park to purchase your ticket for the day. Let the adventure begin! You will be trekking through the jungle and with a bit of luck and the help of the guide you might spot animals, such as chameleons, insects, birds and monkeys. The trek will be nice and easy in the beginning and get more difficult as you enter deeper into the jungle. While trekking you will already collect bamboo for cooking. After approx. 3 hours you will arrive at Wang Yaow waterfall. Take a swim in the river and enjoy a tea or coffee with freshwater from the Sok River that was boiled in a bamboo pot over the camp fire. You can either relax at the camp and wander around a bit or help the guide to prepare everything for the jungle candlelight dinner. There are loads of things to do: Cut the bamboo, make cups, spoons and plates, wrap the rice in leaves and take care of the chicken and pork roasting over the fire.
After cleaning up the camp it will be time for the night safari. The jungle is very different at night and many animals that are hiding during the day will come out at night. Our guide can help you to spot spiders, scorpions, deer and birds, like owls. Sometimes you can even see sleeping monkeys up in the trees.
Arrive back at The Royal Bamboo Lodge at around 9 pm.
